Hi, I’m Kate and I am a 26 year old Customer Support Rep in Salt Lake City, Utah. I work for Identigene and help customers with a wide range of questions about DNA and Paternity testing. I often feel like I am part Client Support, part Therapist and part High School Biology Teacher.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job has been to work with people who contact me about DNA testing. Beyond answering questions, they often just need a shoulder to cry on or just someone to hear their story. A lot of people don’t think there are other people like them or they are embarrassed to admit how they got in this situation. So, sometimes you become peoples only confidant. I have had a few people who have stayed in touch long after their testing had been completed to discuss the updates in their story. These are the people that make my job great.
