biological father
Definition:
In a paternity test, the biological father is the man who is identified as the child's physical father based on a genetic analysis.
The alleged father is the person who may be the possible father of a child in a paternity test (or other DNA test). The DNA paternity test result shows whether the alleged father is excluded or not excluded as the child's biological father.
A paternity test may have more than one alleged father, but only one can be the biological father.
