Definition:

In DNA paternity testing, the term 'excluded' means that the alleged father is NOT the biological father of the child. In other words, he has been excluded as the biological father because his DNA does not match the child's DNA. A paternity test that shows an alleged father as excluded is also called an exclusion, or exclusion result.
