DNA tests for aunts or uncles (avuncular DNA tests) allow a sibling of the alleged father to participate in a DNA test to verify biological relationships. As with all relationship DNA testing, including the biological mother offers the strongest results (find out why).

"Legal" relationship tests, or DNA testing for legal purposes, like legal paternity tests, require accurate test results as well as proof of identity for each person participating in the DNA test.
