I knew the mother was just playing games.

My story begins with my son who was involved with a girl who was troubled.

While she was dating my son she had other partners. He had finally gotten away from her when he got in a car accident. She returned and started visiting him again. While my son was recuperating from his injuries she would sneak over and have relations with him. I warned my son to stop but he would not listen.

Time went by and my son moved on in his life and found another girl. The ex-girlfriend wrote on myspace that she was pregnant and my son could be the father, even though she had a partner who she was living with. My son paid no mind to her and she stayed away.

A year had passed when I saw her with the baby and her partner at a store. I said hello and the girl looked like she had just seen a ghost. I looked at the baby and said 'he looks just like his father' meaning the man who was with her. They immediately left the store.

Recently she started up again, saying that my son was the father because the baby had heart shape lips like my son. I did not want to hear this. My son was frustrated because she had told him he was not the father. My son assumed she was getting tired of her partner and wanted to get with him again.

I did not believe that my son was the baby's father. I was tired of the games that this girl was playing. I had my son get the home paternity test and brought the child and mother to test at my house.

Thanks to the Identigene DNA Home Paternity test I was able to end this game once and for all. This girl had played and lost. The paternity test came back negative. My son was not the father. My son and I are at peace knowing that he no longer has to put up with the games this girl likes to play.

I raised my son alone and this would have been devastating, had he been the father. I would have felt really bad knowing that he was not a part of the pregnancy and the first year of the baby's life. Luckily we were able to do the testing discreetly with the home paternity test. The girls partner is known for being trouble and this would have gotten out of hand. If it were not for the home paternity test I don't know how we could have gotten a paternity test done.
