My son was planning his future.

My son had just planned out his senior year of high school and a future in the Marines when he was told that he was the father of the baby born on his 17th birthday.

The mother had signed papers to put the baby up for adoption and wanted my son to comply. I knew that this would be a difficult thing for him to do, since he had grown up without his father.
